Yesterday, a team led by our Country Director Yah Vallah Parwon and Project Manager Fenny Taylor-Diggs, alongside our partners from ADWANGA, had a productive meeting with Inspector General Hon. Gregory Coleman at the Liberia National Police – LNP Headquarters.
We discussed our ongoing partnership under the July 2023 MOU between medica Liberia and the Liberia National Police to enhance the police’s response to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV). Highlights included integrating a Stress and Trauma-Sensitive Approach into police training and advocating for increased Women and Children Protection Unit support.
We are excited about the strong commitment shown by the Inspector General and look forward to continuing our work to serve the women and girls of Liberia better.
